Festival Wrap Up, Media Coverage, Cooking Class, Gene Baur
November 1, 2010

Hello Boston Vegetarian Society,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 15th Annual Boston Vegetarian Food Festival!

We were really uplifted by the good energy and feedback. So many of our exhibitors commented on how well they were treated by our volunteers.  We thank all of you who pitched in, all who helped us publicize, and all who attended.  We know we will hear from people in the year ahead, as we always do, who found this event a life-changing experience.

*  Our 16th annual BVFF is scheduled for Sat & Sun, Oct. 29 & 30, 2011.  Hold the date!

*  Now we look ahead to our next vegan cooking class on Saturday, Nov. 13, when veg cookbook author Didi Emmons will be our chef instructor!  (Details will go to the list soon, at which time registration will be open.)

*  We are having a special speaker event on Sunday, Nov. 14, when we'll host Gene Baur, Co-Founder and President of Farm Sanctuary.  Details soon...

Below are some of the media items that appeared on the Food Festival.  The Patriot Ledger article was featured with a Page One banner saying "VEGAN No Longer on the Fringe," and great photos in the print edition.

Also we had a promo with photo in Improper Bostonian magazine and Metro Boston newspaper.

We did three radio shows, including Martha Stewart Living Radio.
