Veg Fest, Free Passes to Fast Food Nation

Hello Boston Vegetarian Society List,
1) Boston Vegetarian Food Festival - Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 - 10 AM - 6 PM
You may be seeing some nice magazine publicity popping up for the Festival -- Boston Magazine, Improper Bostonian, Panorama, and even the free Amtrak magazine that's on the trains on the Northeast Corridor! We've also done several radio shows in the last week.
It's all welcome, but we still rely on you all to spread the word so that vegetarians can come to the Festival and feel supported and find new resources, and most important -- so that non-vegetarians can come and learn in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

2) See Fast Food Nation for free tonight!
BVS has been given free passed to admit 50 people to a free pre-release screening of Fast Food Nation. Monday, Oct. 16, at 7 PM at the AMC Loews Boston Common Theatre, 175 Tremont St., Boston. (Park St. or Boylston St. stations.)
A volunteer will be standing in front of the theatre entry from 6:45 - 6:55 PM tonight with the free tickets. Her name is Nancy and she will be holding a small sign saying "BVS."
