Dr. Joel Kahn is an activist cardiologist whose passion is to identify and reverse coronary artery disease, and to prevent it. Dr. Kahn has been practicing invasive, interventional, and preventative cardiology in Detroit since 1990, combining the best of Western and complimentary therapies. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Michigan School of Medicine, and is certified in Metabolic Cardiology. He is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in Cardiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Oakland University Beaumont School of Medicine. His core belief is that plant-based nutrition is the most powerful source of preventative medicine on the planet.
Dr. Kahn was titled “America’s Holistic Heart Doc” by the Reader’s Digest, who selected him for their Holistic Heart Doc column. He is the author of three books, all #1 best sellers on Amazon, over 150 medical articles and book chapters, and he contributes to the Huffington Post and MindBodyGreen.
